I am a Pharmacy Technician licensed in my Province with the College of Pharmacists. Am I eligible to write the CDECB exam?

The CDECB requires all applicants to meet all of its criteria to be eligible to write the CDECB examination. Although you are licensed and regulated with an appropriate authority the scope of practice of a pharmacy technician does not permit you to provide diabetes education within the competencies as established by the Canadian Diabetes Educator Certification Board. Therefore, the CDECB is not able to accept applications from pharmacy technicians.
