I am taking a course about diabetes from my local college. May I include that in my calculation of 800 hours of diabetes education experience?

It is always great to enhance your knowledge of diabetes education. However, when calculating the time you spend taking a course, reviewing materials, working on projects, taking tests, this time does not contribute towards that initial 800 hours of diabetes education experience. We do acknowledge it may assist you in preparing for the examination however it does not contribute towards the 800 hours of experience.
