If I just do not “show up” or “sign in” for the examination am I then scheduled for the next examination?

No, if you are scheduled or registered to write the examination and you do not take the examination the opportunity has been lost and funds are forfeited to the CDECB.  You will need to re-apply for the next examination, meet the qualification requirements and pay the appropriate fee.  If you are taking the examination to maintain your CDE® designation you will not have maintained your CDE® designation.
